BSE Accredited Cardiac Physiologist / Echocardiographer
Location: Leicester (Mobile Service – Syston, Rosebery, Croft, Burbage, Hinckley)
Contract Type: Locum / Ongoing Assignment
Schedule: Monday to Friday + additional Mondays (6 days per week)
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (longer days available)
About the Role
We are currently seeking BSE Fully Accredited Cardiac Physiologists / Echocardiographers to join our mobile diagnostic team providing high-quality cardiac services within community settings across the Leicester region.
You will be responsible for conducting accurate and efficient echocardiography scans and ensuring that each patient receives a professional, high-quality diagnostic experience.
Key Responsibilities

Perform transthoracic echocardiograms to a high clinical standard

Work independently across mobile community sites

Manage 45-minute appointment slots (10–12 patients per day depending on site)

Ensure all scans and reports meet BSE standards

Utilise Vivid IQ equipment and CIMAR reporting system

Provide clear, concise clinical reports to referring clinicians
Requirements

BSE Accreditation (Essential)

Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience

Proven ability to work independently and manage a full clinic list

Excellent communication and patient care skills

Experience using Vivid IQ and CIMAR systems (desirable)
