Role Overview

I am currently recruiting experienced Sonographers for a range of locum opportunities across the UK, supporting diagnostic imaging services in community and clinical settings.

I am interested in hearing from Sonographers with experience in one or more of the following specialisms:

  • General Ultrasound
  • Obstetric & Gynaecological Ultrasound
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound
  • Vascular Ultrasound
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Small Parts / General Medical Ultrasound

About the Roles

You will undertake high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensuring excellent patient care and accurate imaging in line with clinical protocols and professional standards.

Depending on the service and speciality, duties may include:

  • Performing and documenting diagnostic ultrasound examinations
  • Producing high-quality diagnostic images and measurements
  • Working independently and managing a clinical caseload
  • Communicating effectively with patients and clinical colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Working within governance, quality assurance and infection-control procedures
  • Supporting efficient patient flow within busy diagnostic services

About You

Experienced (minimum 1 year's U.K. experience) professional and patient-focused Sonographers who are confident working independently and delivering a high standard of diagnostic imaging.

Essential:

  • Relevant ultrasound qualification
  • UK clinical experience
  • Experience in your relevant ultrasound speciality
  • Professional registration/accreditation where applicable
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to travel to different locations where required

Additional accreditation such as CASE accreditation will be advantageous depending on the speciality and service.

Locations

Opportunities are available across London, Birmingham, Manchester, Shropshire, Wiltshire, Cornwall, Yorkshire, the North East and other locations throughout the UK, with requirements varying according to local service demand.
