About the role
We are delighted to be recruiting a Registered Manager for a small, welcoming children’s home in Bargoed, supporting 2–3 young people in a stable, nurturing environment.
This service is run by a charity / non-profit organisation, meaning the focus is firmly on quality care, relationships, and long-term outcomes, rather than occupancy or profit.
As Registered Manager, you will have the time and space to lead with purpose, build a strong staff team, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people.
Key responsibilities

Overall management of the children’s home in line with Ofsted regulations

Creating a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment

Leading, mentoring, and developing the staff team

Ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance

Building positive relationships with professionals, families, and external agencies

About you

An experienced Registered Manager (or Deputy Manager ready to step up)

Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s residential care

Passionate about delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care

Confident leader with a supportive, hands-on approach

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
