Lead Occupational Therapist

Role Overview
Our client is a patient-centred healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic support. Working within a multidisciplinary team environment, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve maximum independence and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Occupational Therapy team (8 OTs, 1 OTA, 1 Therapy Technician).
- Support service development, audits, governance and reporting.
- Carry a specialist neurological rehabilitation caseload.
- Lead clinical audits and quality improvement.
- Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapists.
- Work within the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
- Produce high-quality clinical and medico-legal reports.
- Represent STEPS at conferences and external events.
Minimum Requirements
- HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
- Master's degree (or equivalent specialist knowledge).
- Significant post-registration experience.
- Minimum 5 years' specialist neurological rehabilitation experience, including one or more of:
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Complex Neurological Conditions
- Major Trauma
- Amputation/Limb Loss
- Minimum 2 years' leadership experience managing and supervising OT staff.
- Experience in service development, audits and governance.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
