Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Salaried GP to join an established primary care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient-centred care while contributing to clinical governance, practice development, audit, education and service improvement.
Key Requirements
· Eligible to practise independently as a GP in the UK
· Full GMC Registration with GP Registration
· Entry onto the Medical Performers List
· MRCGP
· Experience working within UK Primary Care within the last 3 years
· Good understanding of the GMS Contract, particularly QOF
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled clinical team
· Strong clinical judgement, initiative and ability to work under pressure
· Experience contributing to clinical governance, audit and quality improvement
· Ability to undertake consultations across a range of clinical settings
· Willingness to participate in duty rotas, patient visits and cover arrangements as required
· Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
· Membership of a recognised medical indemnity organisation
· Flexibility to work the required sessions
Key Responsibilities
· Provide primary healthcare services across appropriate clinical settings
· Undertake routine, urgent and same-day consultations
· Manage patient queries, prescriptions, referrals and clinical correspondence
· Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and coding
· Contribute to QOF, clinical governance, audits and service improvement
· Participate in vaccination and immunisation programmes
· Provide appropriate clinical supervision and support to colleagues and learners
· Participate in clinical and staff meetings, CPD, training and research activities
· Undertake patient visits and participate in the duty rota
