Children’s Registered Manager

Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum + performance bonuses

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to oversee a brand-new 2–3 bed children’s residential home in the Dudley area, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new service from the ground up, shaping a positive culture and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager and ensure the home meets all regulatory standards.

Lead, develop, and inspire your team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care.

Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and behaviour management practices.

Manage budgets, staffing, and rota planning efficiently.

Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and the local community.

Drive continuous improvement and maintain an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting (Deputy or Registered Manager level).

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).

Excellent understanding of Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
