Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join a growing education service and play a key role in shaping inclusive practice across a family of schools.
Working alongside SEND and Inclusion professionals, you will provide high-quality educational psychology services to support pupils, families, school leaders, SENCOs and staff teams.
Through consultation, assessment, training, intervention and strategic development, you will help strengthen inclusive practice and improve outcomes for children and young people, particularly those with SEND and additional vulnerabilities.
Key Requirements
- Appropriate Educational Psychology qualifications
- HCPC Registration
- Experience working with children and young people in educational settings
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, consultation and intervention
- Experience delivering training and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively with schools, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to contribute to strategic development and inclusive practice
Key Responsibilities
- Champion inclusive practice across schools and educational settings
- Work directly with children, young people, families and staff to improve outcomes
- Support the development of high-quality SEND and inclusion provision
- Provide psychological consultation, assessment and intervention
- Deliver training and professional development to build capacity within schools
- Build strong partnerships with Local Authorities, schools, academies and professional networks
- Contribute to the ongoing development of inclusive education services
- Support positive change at both an individual and organisational level
