Role Overview
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Ultrasound Sonographers to join a growing private ultrasound clinic in Surrey.
The clinic welcomes applications from sonographers with independent competency in Obstetric, General or MSK ultrasound, with candidates expected to work safely and independently within their verified scope of practice.
Flexible daytime, evening and weekend sessions may be available, with opportunities to increase sessions as patient demand grows.
Key Requirements
· Relevant ultrasound qualification and professional registration where applicable
· Current practical ultrasound experience
· Evidence of independent competency within your scope of practice
· Ability to perform and report ultrasound examinations independently
· Strong clinical documentation and reporting skills
· Experience in Obstetric, General and/or MSK ultrasound
· Excellent communication and patient-care skills
· Understanding of patient safety, infection prevention and clinical governance
· Right to work in the UK
· Professional indemnity cover or eligibility for appropriate cover
· Reliable availability for agreed sessions
Desirable Experience
· Competence in both Obstetric and General ultrasound
· MSK ultrasound experience
· Fertility or IVF monitoring experience
· Current NHS or private ultrasound experience
· Previous independent private clinic experience
· Electronic reporting and patient-record system experience
· Availability for evening, daytime or weekend sessions
